When connecting your mobile phone to the computer via a USB cable, make sure you choose the correct USB mode for the connection in your mobile phone. There are several USB modes to choose from. To be able to use your phone with Nokia Suite, choose Nokia Suite (or Nokia Ovi Suite, or PC Suite) USB mode.

You can only use Nokia Suite in the Nokia Suite (or Nokia Ovi Suite, or PC Suite) USB  mode. If you choose the mass storage mode and have Nokia Suite running, Nokia Suite automatically tries to change the USB mode back to Nokia Suite (or Nokia Ovi Suite, or PC Suite) mode.
